Department Message

Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program offers an array of youth services through local, state, and federal funding sources for youth ages 14-24.  These services include work readiness skills, paid and unpaid work experiences, leadership and team building skills, educational support workshops, financial literacy workshops, independent living skills, counseling and mentoring.  Eligibility for programs include, but are not limited to: 

  • All youth seeking college and career readiness preparation
  • Youth with specific career technical education(CTE) goals
  • Foster youth
  • Youth with special needs
  • Low income
  • Youth at risk of dropping out of high school and/or drop outs
  • Disconnected youth
  • Current or former gang affiliated youth


All youth support services have similar overarching goals such as increasing academic achievement, career exploration, and workforce preparation as an integral part of college and career readiness.
