Special Projects

IVROP’s special projects are rooted in strengthening the community by supporting students, families, and individuals at every stage of life. Programs like WorkAbility I, ReadyforLIFE, and Strong Workforce help young people build career skills, leadership abilities, and resilience, while initiatives like HIPPY and 24/7 Dad empower families to create strong, nurturing homes.
Through partnerships with schools, agencies, and local organizations, IVROP provides access to education, mental health support, parenting programs, and workforce development. Together, these efforts foster personal growth, academic achievement, and stronger, healthier communities across Imperial County.

ALTO-GED

Project ALTO provides individuals receiving behavioral health services with flexible academic support to earn their GED, fostering personal growth, career advancement, and new opportunities.

STAR

The project is dedicated to helping individuals facing behavioral and mental health challenges achieve recovery and find stability in their lives.

Workability

The program helps special education students in Imperial County develop job readiness skills, explore career paths through work assessments and subsidized work experiences, and gain valuable skills for future success.

HIPPY

Supports parents of young children with home-based lessons that build early learning skills and school readiness.

24/7 Dad

Program offer fathers in the community tools and information to support and improve their relationships with their children and their partner.
