Youth Employment Initiative (YEI)

Supports justice-involved young adults with disabilities through employment and education services in collaboration with local and state partners.

Next Chapter: Youth Employment Initiative (YEI): 

Our goal is to support justice-involved young adults with disabilities with engaging in employment and educational opportunities and resources.

The program will provide these young adults with a variety of services which will include the following: Job Exploration Counseling, Work-Based Learning Experiences, Post Secondary Counseling, Workplace Readiness Training, Self-Advocacy Training, Job Placement and Retention Services.

IVROP’s Next Chapter: Youth Employment Initiative is a demonstration project funded through Amity Foundation. This project is a collaborative effort with the California Department of Rehabilitation, Imperial County Probation Department.
