ReadyforLIFE

ReadyforLIFE helps high school students build essential life skills, strengthen resilience, and prepare for career and life success through workshops, coaching, and hands-on work experience.

ReadyforLIFE Program

We help youth build strong foundations in relationships, resilience, and career readiness to succeed in school, work, and life.

ReadyforLIFE empowers high school students to develop life skills, set and achieve goals, and transition successfully into adulthood. All participants complete 16 hours of core educational workshops focused on healthy relationships, coping mechanisms for trauma and stress, and financial literacy. Students can also participate in additional life skills and child development workshops. Career advancement services include career skills development, resume and interview prep, employer presentations, mentoring, and up to 160 hours of paid work experience. Through individual and group sessions, certified life coaches provide personalized support to help youth overcome challenges and plan for the future.

Funded by: Office of Family Assistance – Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood Program (HMRF). This is a 5 year federally funded program running until September 30, 2025.
