Connect

Project Connect is a Youth Services Program under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), supporting youth aged 14 to 24 in Imperial County.

Project Connect – WIOA Youth Services Program

Project Connect helps young people ages 14–24 in Imperial County build their future through education, job readiness, and leadership development.

This year-round program, funded by the Imperial County Workforce Development Board through WIOA, serves both in-school and out-of-school youth. Participants receive support in key areas like tutoring, paid work experience, occupational skills training, and mentoring. The goal is to equip youth with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom, the workplace, and beyond.

Services include financial literacy, leadership development, entrepreneurship training, and post-secondary preparation. Youth also gain access to career exploration and follow-up services that promote long-term success. Project Connect empowers young people to earn industry-recognized certifications, improve their academic and job skills, and connect with meaningful education and employment opportunities.
