CTE
Career Technical Education (CTE)
IVROP’s Career Technical Education (CTE) Program helps high school students gain the skills and confidence needed for success in career, college, and life. Through partnerships with local school districts, we provide direct support to enhance and sustain high-quality CTE programs. A key part of our program is the placement of Career Specialists at participating schools. These career specialists guide students through career exploration, workforce preparation, and work-based learning opportunities, connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences.
Students receive support in career readiness, including resume writing, job applications, interview practice, and professional skills such as communication and teamwork. They also have access to guest speakers, industry tours, internships, and mentoring to help them explore career pathways. In addition, our program integrates social-emotional learning (SEL) and Developmental Assets, equipping students with resilience, time management, and self-care strategies.
Serving: High school CTE students in participating schools across Imperial County
