Department Message

Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program (IVROP) supports the college and career readiness of students by supporting Career and Technical Education (CTE) in all of the high schools throughout the Imperial County. CTE classes help students prepare for career pathways that  may lead to certification,  which means students can enter the workforce with career skills after graduation. Students also have the option to pursue additional technical skills, or continue with college in their chosen field. All CTE courses provide students with the soft skills they need, such as application and resume development, and interview skills to secure employment. It is the goal of this Department to provide even more support to students during the 2016-2017 school-year. We hope to introduce more services such as work-based learning opportunities, along with other relevant and important life skills  and “developmental assets” that students need to be successful in their careers and in their lives. Check back on this page, the IVROP website, and our Facebook page for the latest updates.

Thank you,
