Students in El Centro receiving hands-on training. The career pathway and career exploration activities will help youth receive exposure to various career opportunities and requirements at the entry, technical and professional levels. Youth will also have the opportunity to learn about careers through guest speakers, job shadowing, career courses, field trips to businesses, colleges and the One-Stop Centers. The youth will learn how to develop short-term and long-term plans as it pertains to their chosen career. Students will learn to enroll in the high school courses that will better prepare them for a particular career. Participants will also learn how to select a post secondary education that matches their personal goals, skills and interests.
