Foster youth are expected to
go out on their own after their 18th birthday and lack the necessary
support during this transition. As a result, they experience numerous obstacles
such as homelessness, unemployment, and transportation problems. IVROP has
started a foundation to help improve the lives of local foster youth and former
foster youth.
